Sick

So, I know I've been promising the new ultrasound pics for awhile now, but I'm not feeling so hot... I will get them scanned and up sometime this week.

There is this nasty cold that has been going around work. My throat has been a little sore all weekend, and today my head is killing me, and I feel a little warm. I'm trying to rest and relax so I can gt better.

I had my last appointment last Wednesday. It was the usual 5 minute appointment. I had my diabetes test done, too. So far, so good, I guess. No news is good news. My next ultrasound is right before I head out to the East Coast on Oct. 1. We'll see how this baby is growing.

He seems like he is getting pretty big. He's still flipping around, so I guess it's not getting to tight in my belly. I can't believe that he's going to be here in 3 months! Time is flying by so fast!

The one thing that is crazy is he gets hiccups all the time. He gets them at least 3 times a day. It used to only be after I ate, but sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night and he has them. he's definitely getting stronger... His kicks and punches hurt sometimes. The other morning, I was laying in bed and it felt like he was doing the iron cross in my belly... I wish I could see what he was doing when he moves sometimes. His movements feel crazy sometimes...

Sorry about the cold. My allergies which I should point out I never had before I moved to DE are out of control. They seem to be worse in Sussex County. Probably all the chicken feathers and manure. So much for the fresh ocean breeze. Can't wait to see you all. I know I saw you in May but it seems a lot longer. Love, Mom

MJ - I used to have crazy allergies when I lived in Charlotte, N.C. It cleared up a couple years after moving to California. The only thing that worked for me was Claritin.

I am so excited that you are all coming home. I just can't wait to see you. Don't worry, I'll get the Halupkis made. Hope you like them, too, Josh. Love, Mom MJP

Murphy, Joele and the kids are here. Emma is very funny. We went shopping at Carters for your baby because Kirsten was down this weekend. Joele bought out the whole store, I swear. Kirsten and I got bored and went outside and sat on a bench to wait. YOur dad asked me if we were serving kimchee at the shower but I told him we were having halupki instead. Tonight I'm buying the ingredients. Not sure if I'm making them tonight or tomorrow but don't worry, you'll have them. Of course you'll like them Josh. Everybody like halupkis and speidis too. I'm bringing that too but not for the shower. You'll have to negotiate with Kirsten about when she'll cook them. I have to teach on Sat and then I'm coming up to K and R's after class. I have to come back on Sun night because of the dogs. Any chance you can come to the beach for a day before you go back? You could probably take K to work and borrow her car to come down. Think about it. Love, Mom/MJP
